Students curate a film programme for the UK film organisation Reclaim the Frame
Reclaim the Frame is a UK-wide charity with a mission to bring a broader perspective of the world through cinema.
They support films by women & non-binary people, with the aim of building a community for those who make, show, release and watch them. They do this by bringing ever greater audiences to films by marginalised creatives, developing safe and accessible spaces for conversation, promoting a de-patriarchal and de-colonised lens on the world, and advocating for social justice in all film spaces.
Keep an eye out for the programme, which will go live on Earth Day, Saturday April 22nd. The students are currently working hard researching for their film programme, compiling lists of films, documentaries, shorts, and visual poems from all around the world to watch and discuss. They are also developing their social media marketing strategy and writing copy and programme notes for Birds Eye View. Watch this space for more!
